These are my models:

The T1 is a 2010 mid version that I have backdated (partially) to an early version.

It's currently 5C in the garage, so avoiding any work there...

Ooopsie! Indeed it is here as well! Sleepy eyes and hands are the makings of mistakes; better with the keyboard than with
one of my model projects!

Allow me to try again!:

We were discussing recoil systems today. I shot a couple of clips to show you the one in Per Sonnervik's JT. This is a scratch build, so differs from Armortek. The small RC aircraft cylinder only has a 5cm throw. It should be 2-3 times that, depending on whether the gun was cold or hot. Despite this, it does a fair job, I think. Still, I am going to get industrial cylinders and valves to get more schwung to it. :D

The contraption is controlled by an Arduino, which reads the RC gun control servo signal and controls the valve servo on "dead reckoning".

I've been asked if I would continue the video calls.

I'll ask the question 'point blank': who is interested in attending Zoom video calls going forward? We've had some terrific desicussions over the last year or so and personally I've enjoyed seeing and speaking with everyone.

So far it's the closest thing we in the West Coast colonies in particular have to a 'gathering'.

Any 'Armortek people' from anywhere are welcome to join.
