Simple solution.
Go to twin stick drive.
At full speed the only way to turn is to slow down the inner track.
Your behaviour is for me realistic.
On all the tracked vehicles I worked on during 22 years with the british army, the only one where the outer track did not speed up when turning at lower speeds was the FV430 series.
Any rear-wheel drive car without a diff-lock does exactly the same.
