Test photo
Recessed the gun mount today I'm using Andy's hobbies 1/16 scale easy eight as a builders model and noticed around the machine gun mount was a circular weld which is under the rain cover mount I've just added today as well . In the photo below Dale

Re: Dale easy eight
I'm looking at fixing the top decks down permanently and cutting the engine deck out to lift off like the real Sherman . Which I did on my old sherman Dale

Re: Dale easy eight
Sherman Build has been very slow lately ! settling into new house . Time for modelling going my way now . I'm making up a template for centre bulkhead right angle to deck sides looks like enough room for batteries so far , the engine deck will removable , same as real machine . I've finished the lower hull so far I like to have all the basic hull and deck work done first before the running gear and detail parts A lot different to building a german tank . Dale

Re: Dale easy eight
Metal work done , just test fitting so far . I cut up the Armortek rear deck to make the side rear fillets , later I will make a new centre deck with added detail . looks like I still have good access for the motion packs Dale
