The replacement range target is now done so 331 was employed to pull it out the tank shed, the next step is to park it up on range ready for the wizbangs!

The bergetiger is now moving on, all of the hull plates have now been cleaned and undercoated, Simon is sending the first batch of hull parts and Adrian is sorting the belly plate for me so it will start to take shape very soon.
I've ordered a 1/35 model for the scaling of the ad on parts that make it special.
Apologies for the photo of the flag draped over the Tiger in my last post, I have been asked by the management to remove it, and quite rightly so.

Okay, I shouldn't be asking such a silly question. It is a panel of the sponson.

Hi Phil, looks great.
Is the range target get left out like the originals after the battle, because I can think of one or two entrepreneur types that might pay it a visit.

Hi Chang, it's all tiger1. I think that's what you wanted to know?
Hi John, I really need to bring the target in after filming but I love the patina after a winter in the weather, what's left of the other one can just rust away now!

Great effects Phil.
POST EDITED- inappropriate content - ARMORTEK
Reading RTR WW2 North African desert stories, most British tankies relished the Italian tank evacuation bit. Being virtually imperious to anything they'd got. No quarter given in the heat of battle.
Nope. I won't write it

Thanks guys, have a look at the latest rushes with lots more to come. This edit is a little blurry as I have had to zoom in from the original video but that maybe adds to the period look. Cameras are very sensitive and need to be kept away from the blast.
Richard I have a couple of very old videos of this particular hulk One of which shows the turret being blown off and coming to rest on its side on the deck but the required charge is so big to lift the turret it wrecks the hull!

Cool eh? The effect and especially the sound of these reminds me of the 1940's Typhoons rockets along with the A10 depleted uranium tipped firing from that chain gun.
I have more of 331 at distance under fire but if it's getting a bit much for the management please let me know and I will reduce the posts with this content a tad?

The more the merrier for me Phil, It's nice to see the models out and about. Shame an Easy 8 isn't lurking in the foreground.
I used to enjoy blowing stuff up as a child, still got the scars.
Brought some Chinese strip fire crackers (few boxes) from Germany back in the 70's. Smuggling was easy back then
I was in my element blowing up my brothers old Airfix models, I say old, they were after I'd finished with them.
Those tiny banger's were great, you could blow off individual bits like tracks and turrets. oh for a slo mo camera.
Fifty on a string, but the fuse time was short. Buyer beware.
