Assembling the bogeys. I sanded some of the CNC lines and decided to put in 8 mm brass tubes as axles in stead of the supplied stainless pins. As it says in the manual you cannot remove these pins once they are inserted. I cut an M6 thread in the tube, making them easy to remove with a screw. I also drilled two holes to model the bolts that are at the end of the real HVVS bogeys. After cutting an M3 thread the bolts where screwed in. On the pictures are M 2,5 bolts, but I thought these are too small and changed them to M3.

Painting, lot's of painting....

I recessed the machine gun insert in the glacis. On Youtube there are videos of people using a wood router to cut aluminium. This worked very well!

Progress so far. The HVVS springs are cold blued, paint will probably chip off once the tank is in use. After bluing I applied some Birchwood Barricade protective spray. The stainless pins for the springs where blackened as well, painting these would make a lot of filing necessary.
