Now if the M-24 were to find favour, I'd be delighted, not because of this:
but because I could make this, which has long been an ambition. Think of all the outrageous US markings from Vietnam (and the Bundeswehr had them too)...

Well, I think that the Panzer 1V is well overdue.
Only really one small batch ever made, and could be a brilliant basis for many variants and conversions as well.
There were definitely some strong choices on the survey.
The highlights for me personally as I touched upon in an earlier post were:
-The Chaffee, as it is small and portable (roughly the size of a hetzer), with conversion and variant possibilities.
-The Churchill, because let's face it, the variety of "funnies" and variants such as The Crocodile would just be so interesting to see.
-The Cromwell, would possibly be my number 1 choice because it'll be nippy, it's a manageable size, it's British and like the Churchill saw real prolonged action. Plus in my pining for a Comet, maybe a Cromwell is a good second best.
While it perhaps isn't something quite in my personal wheelhouse, I think a CVR(T) is well due, with increasing support, and it seems the survey was feeling out which variants of CVR(T) to produce, so fingers crossed to the CVR(T) people, I hope you get your wish(es) soon- see what I did there.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a Challenger 2, but having measured one out in 1/6 on the floor of my study, that's definitely one that I'll leave to the braver members of the group, but I'll follow that one intently if it comes to fruition!
P.S my sunday afternoon therapy was building a Cobi set (a Lego like brick kit) my goddaughter picked out as a gift for me...maybe she's trying to tell me we need a Cromwell in the family?..Obviously sans the World of Tanks fictional desert colour scheme..
Cheers, and hopefully we'll have some updates soon!
Alex
