Well I would have loved to have just bolted my new Fiefel Plate on and moved on to another job, but the problem is the position on the hatch can be improved, so after some cutting soldering, filing and sanding the mod was done.

New position taken from my 1/35 kit and adjusted to align with Armortek hatch

3mm thick plate cut then prepared for soldering

Thats more like it

A fairly easy job that took longer then expected, one of Steve Winstone upgrade lugs went missing, I searched high and low and when I was ready to throw in the towel I found it outside the garage, I must have searched for an hour or so ...if its it's not looking for a tool you were just using its dropping something on the floor of no return.... must lead to another dimension.

Hi David,

Like your jobs of adding aerial storage tube, and re-location of the Fiefel air intake cover plate.

The axis of the 2007 Tiger 1 Driven Gear CE0302, is solid without threaded central hole (as shown on your Tiger 1).

Will you replace it with a threaded one , or use it without any modification?

I don't see a benefit to doing this as my sprocket cap is a nice tight fit.

A little more done, Steve Winstone C and U shackle with brackets along with castle nuts on tow hitch and cone bolt on starter cover.

Slaters 1105 5mm High Letters and Numerals (White) on exhaust and sprockets I also use
Slaters 1103 White 3mm High Letters & Numerals

Hi,

Fitted one of the front hatches today. These are a combination of working steel mechanism fitted by Steve Winstone, Mark Lawson brass hinges and Armorpax hatch.
