Hi Chang,

no wonder about my Tigers weihgt. I have replaced all white metal parts
with one exeption the rear grills and plates. Just too difficult to make new
parts from aluminium. Then the deck is replaced in aluminium. If I remember right the steel deck was 5,3 kg and the replacement is 1,2 kg.

The tracks are about 1 kg lighter by using titanium pins. Same material as my new towing hook.

Just a view examples of saving weight. On the other hand I accept the extra 5 kg my 88 mm gun put on. However my view is always on saving weight while others love additional weight. It is a very personal matter wich way you like it. As fare as I know up to now there is no one going for the original scale weight - around 250 kg. Probably this is your target.
Then we all will have an answer about true mobility!

Regards Roland

Hi Roland,
250kg is the real scaled weight---if made by steel. But it's too much for R/C's concerns. For static model, it could be a good idea you know.

Anyway, as long as the twin motors can handle the weight, so let it be! :D
