Yes, Olaf’s Kgs 73/800/152 single-links is a work of art but was never used on Jagdtigers.

Per Sonnervik (RIP) told me so and for his own scratchbuild 1:6th JT he had Das Geisswerk made a set of for a JT the correct
Kgs 73/800/300 double-links.

Per did have a build story here on the forum in the king tiger section. Unfortunately, the pictures are all gone, thanks to some derelict hosting service.
If you spend hours and hours to make a build story, please don't make that mistake. Instead, UPLOAD the pictures to the forum for generations of enthusiasts to enjoy!

It is true that the KGS 73/800/152 was used in the field and not only on prototypes, because Olaf's single-link (the original) was found near the Eifel, and it was a worn one (today it is part of the wheatcroft collection). Therefore I think that at least some king tigers were equipped with these tracks.

I think no one can say, wether or not this track type also was used on Jagdtigers. The spare part situation of the Wehrmacht was somehow desperate at the end of WW II, so all possible kinds of parts were used to make the tanks mobile. Some Jagdtigers even used transportation tracks (Verladeketten) in the field.

Nice to see the pictures of the Jagdtiger again...what a beastie, now all we need after this release is a e100... it's taken me five years on and off but I have one now and its awesome.

The E100 the best looking over weight lump of ... the Germans designed.

It would have been the best attraction at Bovington too if some plonker hadn't scrapped it.

Hi John,

If I had one I would definitely try. In my VW touran I used to fit a 1/4 scale king tiger so moving a e100 would be possible.

It's a shame it got scrapped as it's one of my favourite tanks that I would have to try and purchase if armortek released but I'm happy with the next best thing a jagdtiger!

Well David it's not as though it doesn't exist in 1/6 form.
I thought you'd purchased this one hopefully their'll fit the Krupp turret.

The real one would have Trumped anything at the Museum. Visitors gob smacked from all over world coming away with the mind boggling "why" expression on their faces.

It would have had very limited value, and I couldn't see many Armortek buyers wanting it either.

Even shown only a partially-assembled chassis, this E-100 is definitely a jaw-dropped monster.
Can you share more of information, eg, scale (1/6 presumed), material, owner, story, any website link, and mostly, photos, if possible?

Limited buyer maybe, it's worth to learn more about it. Maybe it will became one of Armortek's project....

I think you can find it on face book under facebook World War II Circus 1:6 or on Bigtanks.de.

It's a one off. I think there's a build blog. Like the real thing an impressive odd ball. Almost comic book.

If Armortek were crazy enough to build it, I think they'd be gathering dust on the shelf for years.

We'll have see how the JT Monster sells, should be a winner once we start seeing the rushes.

The 1/6 E100 belongs to Christian, its entirely scratch built mostly from steel this thing is very heavy even the one off tracks are cast from steel

There are a couple of older model builder's at the club i attend that can remember the E 100 when it was "Resting" at Bovington, Late 60s early 70s, and as a coinsidence a relative of mine knew the scrap people who bought it, and then "resting" in thier yard not a mile from my home, this all took place in the 1970's, The name of the business was Belsize Boat yard, in Southampton not Harry pounds yard in Portsmouth which a lot of people thought it went to, if any one can throw more light on this subject add to the post, i noticed a lot of requests from "world of Tanks players" wondering what ever happened to the E 100. It would be like cutting up the Mona Lisa, ugly, but people would have paid good moey to look at it. I was told it was so heavy it kept sinking into the ground to its belly plate. No one had got a clue what to do with it or where to put it.

I can see it now, " Hey Rodney, some gezza's selling some old war junk down at the Camp, we can have it for a few nicker at the back gate.
