The cupola and loaders periscope on the King Tiger are the same as the periscopes used in the Late Tiger 1 cupola, not sure about the driver and radio op periscopes. If the Armortek King Tiger cupola is the same as the Tiger 1 late cupola, which is should be then the new periscopes on late cupola I am making will also fit the King Tiger. Not sure about the fittings for the loaders periscope on the King Tiger, but the external detail is the same as the Tiger 1. Need to find time to research the King Tiger interior. Anyone know of a good book that shows the interior of all the periscopes on the KT.

Hi Mike

I believe the radio operator and driver in the KT had the same scopes as the Ausf G Panther. Could be wrong.

Keep up the great work.

Hi Guys

Bumping this post as I now have requests for 32 units, still need another 18 units to be ordered so I can make the minimum order of 50 units. It requires 4 units to complete the Tiger 1 driver and radio op periscopes.

Mike,

I would like to know also if these prisms made for the loaders and radio ops periscopes will fit the Cupoloa for the late Tiger/Tiger 2 ?

If not are you planning on making ones that will?

If you are not planning glass prisms for the Cupola are you planning anything else?

Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim

This type of periscope/prism was not used in the late Tiger 1, Tiger 2 or Panther Cupolas. Please read my post on periscopes, link below.
