I see the "International Guild of Bean Counters" (headquartered I'm told in the Grand Duchy of Fenwick) ensures that people of all nationalities and interests everywhere are equally made to be sad even at moments of joy; the joy of an Armortek delivery in this instance....

Hi All,

Its definitely starting to get messier. Just had notification a parcel shipped by Courier fully declared and insured, with our commercial invoice, EORI etc has halted somewhere in France as they want different information along with the "Fiscal Representatives" details and VAT number on the invoice...………..groan

After July 1st I can only see it getting worse. Rest of the world continues to ship as normal although costs to the US have skyrocketed in the last year.

Cheers

Dave

Not a reflection on your post Dave, but I am now closing this thread.
We have had a few prospective European customers get worried about import duty and despite reiterating several times that THERE IS NO IMPORT DUTY TO PAY ON ARMORTEK PRODUCTS ONLY LOCAL VAT people read the responses here and get concerned.

So for a final time -
1. Armortek products shipped from the U.K. to Europe will not have U.K. vat charged
2. There will be no import duty to pay.
3. However, when UPS deliver the goods, you will have to pay local VAT and an admin charge to UPS.
