Lovely little model and well painted by Chris. No good for my collection though, it would get squashed by my KT :D

Harsh

There was never light blue on ice cream van's round our way, usually pink/white, just like the was never light blue on angular Caunter pattern, on the matilda 2 The colours were light stone, silver-grey and slate.

A cock up on a matilda by the imperial war museum many moons ago. Probably, like all colour scemes on tanks, what was on the shelf at the time.

Joe and I can't wait to make a start on the moggie.

It'll be a lot easier to load than KT 008 and a C8 makes nice stable mate for the Sdkf7.

Invoice paid and now we wait for the goodies to arrive, I'm interested as to how the kit will arrive. The compact kits are nicely laid out like a Tamiya model, so well done it seems a shame to start the build. Avid collectors don't even like to break the seals. In these times of low finacial interest, would it be better to squirrel the kits away? Wait twenty years, then sell it on as a rarity to someone who dare not even look at the seals for fear that the curling tape will part company with the "orignal cardboard box".

Nope! When it arrives lets rip, although there's lots to do other models to build/maintain, can't wait to have the chassis rolling. Love the idea that the bodywork is "easy" removable. Something that the Sdkfz7 could have done with even if only to allow an easier lift.
The finished C8 model shown earlier has a excellent stance, wheels and tires look just right.
(Late models of the C8 had smaller wheels that detracts the look a little). But in reality since MOD equipment parts are changed/swopped out/upgraded it's difficult to know what was actually what. Mk1 bodies on mk3 chassis etc
I have a BEF driver for the model already, he comes with a nice detailed Lewis gun, an improvised mount for air cover maybe.
Was camo used by the BEF? or just green.

Either way two okies and plenty of razz please!
