If there is a member of the forum who knows Wolgang, please can they pass on my commiserations and I am sure the general sense of solidarity that we all would share for his misfortune. Plus we must say that his misfortune was pretty spectacular, and impressive, so a big thank you for providing an event that Maggies Pyro would have been happy to have set in motion.
In my business I say to customers that we are not going to laugh at you, we will laugh with you, and then do our best to put you on your feet, so that the experience builds you up, not knocks you down
I am in the process of sorting my Tiger Tank out, it is not working as it should, and a visitor to the show said that that it was not a good advert for the models that they broke down! I replied, quick as a flash that this is how a Tiger would have been in real real life, being repaired, so I was demonstrating the foibles of the real thing. I then pointed out that the Comet Tanks were working fine and that was how they were in reality also. But I think that did not compute in his thinking.
So Wolfgang, please do not be disheartened, please let us know what the hazard was and what your solution is, so that we can all learn from your experience.
All the best, Steve
