Re: Bergepanther
Gunter,
I really enjoy your work on the Bergepanther. You take these kits to a new level! Fabulous work. I love all the parts you make for your models. Truly an inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to post pictures.
Best regards,
Bob

Re: Bergepanther
Hi,
thank you for your motivating feedback!
After a long break for working on my Wisent http://www.panther-tanks.de/WISENT/Wels2015.wmv I have started construction of the winch. Below you see the first 2 screenshots of the construction. Next I will produce the parts for mechanical assembly.
In 2 weeks, hopefully I can do a driving test with the Bergepanther.

Re: Bergepanther
Hi William,
yes it will be full functional. I will use 2 stepper motors. One for driving the winch and one for the drum. So it is possible to change the speed of the drum.

Re: Bergepanther
Hi William,
thanks for the comment.
After getting some additional information from my "undercover consultant" I redesigned the latches, which are more realistic for the G model of the Bergepanther.
Redesigned latch
I will send the prototypes to the caster tomorrow.

Re: Bergepanther
Hi guys,
this week I received the latches from the caster.
Parts for two latches
and assembled
Latch opened
Latch closed
Left side
Over the last weeks I found some time to wor on the Bergepanther:
Printed cover for drivers sight
Bracket for machine gun
Some tryings on the glacis structure and weldings
Redesigned brackets for the tools
Making of the glacis structure: 1. Adding putty
2. Linishing
3. Priming
Redesigned and printed covers for the motor hatch
Redesigned and printed oil filling plug
Opened
Same for fuel on the right hand side
Printed rear tanks
Printed tubes of the cooling system
Air filters for the HL230
And last but not least some picters of the winch

Re: Bergepanther
Work really incredible:
compliments!
The only thing I can point out are the German plates that were quite smooth because profiled:
perhaps the effect the merger is more likely in the castings, such as protection of the hull MG.
Sorry for my bad English: I hope I explained.

Hi Günter,
Fantastic work! Latches are spot-on
Look forward to seeing a video of the winch working. I have often wondered how the hinged pully looked in action.
Kind regards
Fabrice

Re: Bergepanther
That winch looks like a prop from a "Steam Punk" movie
Can't wait to see it in action
Adrian.
