Hi Dave.

Hi All,
In order to push on with this and to avoid making moulds piecemeal I've cut a second set of side panels and fitted them. Might make a start on the interior tomorrow.
Best regards
Dave

Re: Armorpax's Limber
Hi All,
Insert frame made for the interior and I have made the dummy tray insert, got to add the base of the shell cases to it yet. I've also made the basic full tray. It needs sanding tomorrow once its fully dry and then the inserts adding.
Please note if you are building the limber and are thinking of adding these parts:
In order to reassemble the door plate, as the inserts have to go in from the back, I have replaced the bottom cap heads with small bolts glued on the inside. Once its fully assembled and the nuts are on I will grind the bolt thread back flush with the nut.
Best regards
Dave

Re: Armorpax's Limber
I was wondering how you would approach the interior detail Dave. I have put my assembly on hold for a while not being sure if the top and or the rear might have to come off again, so very happy to see your last series of photos. Any idea when you are likely to go into production on the Limber set? Also are the brake units the same as the ones you produced for the 25 pounder gun? If so I could borrow those items from my gun kit and make a bit more progress on the model until you are ready to dispatch. Looking forward to further posts, a great job you are doing and a great service you provide. Cheers, Gunner.

Re: Armorpax's Limber
Hi Ian,
Yes, Brake drums are the same ones. I have silicone for moulds due in the next day or so and will start making the moulds for the resin parts. My metal casters are on holiday this week and will have a fair few bits to do when they get back. I am not sure on their lead-time yet so it is still likely to be a few weeks before I can offer anything
I have made a shell case with fibre board cap for the new tray. I think the shells will defeat my hand making abilities and 3D printing may have to be called into play again.
Best regards
Dave
