Re: South West Model Show
It was lovely to see Gill, Mark and Bently and the other Armortek fans at the Model Show. The new Mark 4 tank looks great and a lot larger than I expected. I did spend a bit too long chatting to a Gill and Adrian, with Annabel getting a little bored (again ), though an coffee and a nice cream smoothed the way. I always find very everyone at the stand early interesting to chat to and always impressed by their knowledge and skills, a nice bunch
Must get around to putting some photographs on the forum of my Panzer III's progress.
Best wishes,
Sarah

Re: South West Model Show
Lovely day on Sunday, thanks Gill and Mark - so good to see Bentley enjoying himself.
The line up:
A couple of other outstanding models which caught my eye. Firstly a Fairmile D "Dog Boat" with every plank and former reproduced in miniature:
And 29,000 roof tiles:
I won' show a photo of Mark towing the 25 pdr and limber with the Cent in case it offends any Gunners watching.
Regards
Stephen

Re: South West Model Show
I attended on Saturday, and had a good day despite breaking track links. But every cloud has a lining of shiny metal of some sort, and my Cromwell had a tow back into the hall by a friendly Tiger with the track being transported by a Comet, so the visitors had some thing to watch . However, the owner of a certain Diamond T was not around to give my tank a lift, but was there to pull my leg as I seem to be fated to have break downs at the most inopportune moments.
I now know that cut grass can clog tracks/wheels something chronic, especially when mixed with moss. So avoid cut grass and make sure your lawn has no moss, there really is a good reason for getting rid of it.
Thanks to Mark and Gill for making it happen.

Stephen....... did you really say "towing the 25 Pdr and limber"?????????
Is this a leak, or a very low key announcement?

Re: South West Model Show
I want one! Nice little project together with my centurion turret (if that ever shows up)
Why did the kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
