As Gill say's......

Armortek have started to despatch the first kits with customers today.

I received mine this afternoon.

My first glances at the good design of the box and contents, well packed and nice clear assembly instructions with good exploded drawings.

All I can say now is, looking forward to get stuck into this wee beauty......

Now where was I counting my wee rivets......108, 109, 110.........

Cheers

FINALLY................my copy of the WWP book arrived! It only took 37 days from the date of posting. I've no idea where it has been but it wouldnt be the first time a packet has gone via one of the Guernseys in the USA..............

I must say that this is NOT a reflection of WWP, Frantisek Koran has been very helpful throughout and has been as frustrated as I have at the time this has taken. We both reckon the packet fell behind a desk somewhere, especially as the tracking service reckoned it was in Guernsey several weeks ago!!!

Now I must await my 25 pounder........

Congratulations Kevin on FINALLY receiving your long long awaited book from WWP…37 days behind a desk somewhere?
Worth waiting for I'm sure!……Aha so there is Guernsey islands in the USA too!…..interesting, never knew that!
I thought where you live, that was the only Guernsey islands, well there you have it!

You will be a well read man on this new book on 25 pounders etc from WWP, (which I find a great visual coverage on the 25pdr)….by the time your own kit arrives from Armortek. Best part when you receive this wonderful kit and checking out all the parts, nuts and bolts, is counting up all the wee 'rivets' there's thousands of them hahaha!!!

Good to see the forum discussions on the 25 pounder gun is beginning to gather pace and input, and that some of us have started their own build.
So much information on this wonderful wee gun with a big punch, what themes to go for, European theatre! or I fancy the Desert Warfare period!

Hope you receive your 25pdr kit soon!

Cheers Ian

Hello All,

I have just purchased a copy of the following from Barbarossa Books;

"Military Vehicle Workshop Series - ARTY-03 25-Pounder Field Gun & Limber"

This only costs £2.00 plus p&p and although is only 29 pages, each page is full of details for the gun, limber and projectiles.

Very, very good reference document for the money.

Regards

Dave
