> tapping over 254 x m2.5 holes
That's dedication to the cause
Did you use a drill press to hold the tap, or do them all freehand ?
I've just bought an adaptor which is supposed to sit in the drill chuck and hold the end of the tap vertical, rather than actually putting the tap in the chuck. Of course, since buying it, I haven't needed to tap any holes

It is good to see answers being shown to some things I have been thinking about in advance of my Comet Build.....Thanks
Like David I have a cold, so progress on the Cromwell has slowed, I look forward to finally getting on to the Comet.

Hi Adrian
These were tapped by hand as a m 2.5 tap is a delicate thing

Derek - you must have missed a couple: I counted 256...........only joking!
Looks fantastic, especially the turret bin. I'm missing my Comet build but unless Mark produces a Chieftain, I'll return to it once the Cent is finished. I've lots of reference photos if you need any.
Seasons greetings. Stephen

Hi Ian
Thanks for watching hard not to get the cast texture
looking like a T34
I am happy with what I have done using P38 car body filler I will
get a coat of primer on it and see what it looks like then.
I can change the effect with upol filler primer if needed.
I have more new pictures to add when I get time.

Hi Tim
Happy new year .
Thanks for the coments
I have put a primer coat on it now and it tones it down and the texture
does not look as deep so I am happy that when the top coats go on it will
look right.
At the end of the day that is what its all about.

Hi All
This is the back end with the modified phone box and tow bar and blanking plates.
I need to do all the welds on this model but first fit is to show it at the model engineering show
this weekend in London.

Hi Guys
Turret bin fitted.
Side fender fitted and the side stowage box.
I had some issues with the fenders but I have got it on well enough for now
The whole model will be stripped for painting green when the weather gets more like summer.
