Thanks mate. I now have to secure the hand winch, find some dockside wallpaper, and a seagull soundtrack, then i will have the perfect ambiance :D

Bob,
That joist looks a tad light to lift a full KT. You might consider beefing it up to prevent deflection, or just wedging a couple of lengths of 4x2 under it to shorten the span.
Talking from experience, rather than Elf'n Safety mantra...

All looks a bit too risky for me. I will stick with ramps and table lifts.
