Ok another battery question.
I now have my 4x 6S 22.2v 5000mah LiPo batteries that Im going to run in parallel but now my question is, Can i connect them with a Deans plug right to the supplied "Battery Lead" cable and then right to the power module or do i need to use a BEC before the power module.
Thanks for the input

Re: LiPo Battery
The armortek electronics works with 24V DC, the modules has an integrated BEC for 5VDC to power the RC receiver and servos (through the receiver).
So you don't need a BEC if you use the armortek modules.
However, I don't know what is the cutout voltage of armortek modules.
Armortek electronics include a cutout function that turn off the model in case of low voltage, this is to protect the batteries (the 24V lead ones)
To protect your Lipos for undervoltage you need to buy a lipo watcher, battery saver or protection system. I found in the past few able to reach 8s or life, but, I found at least one able to protect 6S lipo. Google them!
Another thing about having 4 batteries is how to charge them. If you do not modify the power and balancer cables to join them as a single battery, you will need to charge one by one increasing charging times and the risk that the batteries will never be at the same voltage. This is no good when you connect eachother. The most charged will supply current to the less charged ones, this can also can cause a single cell to go in overvoltage.
Li- batteries are delicate and care must be taken in both charging and discharging.
Lipo batteries can also explode if you have no sufficient care with them.

Re: LiPo Battery
Awesome Thanks Andrea
I will make sure i get a low voltage meter. And ya i plan on balance charging every time, Got a recharger that can recharge 4 at a time.
and just a good website i found to buy Lipo Batteries and RC stuff. They where pretty cheap only payed 46$us a piece.
