Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
I have just recently asked for help putting up photos on to postings and it is alot easier now than before, the trick is to look below the 'post a reply' panel and click on the 'upload attachment' which is next to the options and follow the steps from there!
On another note, I have been two two events recently, with a certain amount of trepidation as my two tanks are painted to a standard that is less than the best and I received no negative comments and lots of positive advice and ideas. It has been my experience that in many walks of life the best are often also the best at help and encouragement as well. So thankfully this Forum is a place where not just Tanks are built up, so are people too!
Therefore please be encouraged to post, the more, the more interest for everyone.
All the best
Steve

Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
Hi William
Look for T34 assistance offered,by Dave Bane,in the T34 section.
He took pictures of the Tow Hook on his full size Tank and the picture was taken
with a tape measure in the shot.
I followed these and cut the basic shape out of some aluminium casting which I found
in my garage, these were then fitted to a flat steel base.
Hi Lionel.
I did an article in this Armortek Owners section called "Photobucket for the computer
challenged like "MOI" "
Its still there gathering dust on page 11,Photobucket has been revamped a couple of
times since then, but it will still be of help.
There is a couple of other postings on page 7,"Photobucket" by Stewart Ashton and
"Down loading photo's onto the forum from photobucket by David Gray, and Tim and Adrian
explain and with pic's how to load up a single photo.
With the new Forum the photo's seem to have to be a maximum of 750 pixels wide,so I have
to resize mine which I do when I load them from my camera into Photographs on my
computor.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Phil

Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
Yes, I still live and even do a little work on the KT and T-34 tanks too. The baby (human not tank) is my main excuse for not posting since...March? I am on vacation for the next week and then have the house to myself most of the following week to do tank stuff. I have staged several projects for each glorious evening in the garage. Stand by...

Hi Tim
Still here but building an extension on the back of my house
in between rain storms so no action on the model front at all.
Comet is calling me but I have to resist for now.
Sorry

Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
Hello all . Sorry to be guilty of not posting , though I pretty much check the fourum every other day looking for new info . I did post once under owners , though I miss spelled my own first name , stating that I was awaiting delivery of a late Tiger 1 . I have since received her . number 2012 37 . I have the lower hull , suspention / wheels / tracks finished . I am still waiting for contact to be able to order the motion packs . I have not posted the build for a few reasons . The biggest is that I am not that computer savy . As in not sure how to get photos into and out of this thing . Also I am basically doing an out of the box build . Though I plan to order a wood handle set for the tools and an anti aircraft gun for the turret . So if you guys want to see my boring build , and I can figure out the photo deal then I guess I will try to post them . Though they will not hold a candle to the great builds already posted . Steven Pataki .

Stevsn,
Out of the box, or modified to the highest standard.............we're ALL Tiger enthusiasts so we'd love to see your build.

Steven,
Yes that's exactly what I'd like to see, an out of the box build. Beginners - make yourself known!

Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
I'll admit I was a little intimadated at first about posting pics of my tank after seeing some of the outstanding builds and custom work done on this forum, but I figured what the heck its all a part of being an Armortek owner. So if your new to Armortek just have fun building your tank and throw up some pics.Believe me theres no bigger novice on this forum than ME.

Re: Is there anybody........ out there?
Hi Guys, Tim,
Still around, but have fallen in a black hole after I have finished my Panther. Still reading on a regular basis. But I agree, during building I posted a lot, asked questions and put issues on the forum but only few responded and it was always the same people. So come on you guys, show us what you do and don't let the awesome builds being posted here make you nervous or inconfident with your own skills. I must admit that happened to me.
