Would this be a viable solution for the Mid-Production (2010) Tiger 1?
I haven't received my tank yet, however I am starting to prowl the Armortek forums looking at modifications being undertaken.
Regards,
Geoff.
There is definitely no need for it there, but it is a beautiful and techie solution and I like it. :D
Here is a shot of the underside of my 2010 Tiger 1 turret:

The polished area is from the brass ring bearing and is 10mm wide. There is an additional 10mm available for a ball bearing race, then comes the turret armor.

Hope this helps!

Hello Stefan (and all the others who asked me about ordering a set),

I have received various inquiries and orders for the bearings. With some I was not sure if they want to order or not. In order not to confuse matters:

If you definitely want to order a set, pls send me an e-mail at hquami02@arcor.de with your address and the number of sets you whish to order. I will get back with you with payment and delivery details. As payment methods Paypal or bank transfer are both fine with me.

As of Friday 6/7/12 I will have 5 sets ready for shipment of which 4 are already sold.
I will have more produced as orders come in and have them shipped on a first come first served base.

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

I would be interested in a set of Ball Bearings for a Mid-Production (2010) Tiger 1.
I'm not sure how many a Tiger 1 turret would need!... but if you think that the bearings would be fine for a Tiger turret, then if you let me know what the full costs are involved for x amount of bearings and P&P to UK.

Looking forward to your reply!

Cheers
Ian
