Hi Paul,
Thanks for the filler caps.

I notice that the caps sit quite high up, which seems to be different from the original ones you made and posted on the forum sometime back. Is this correct?

The only reference I have is the Bovington Tiger where the caps seem to be quite shallow compared to yours.

Hello Steve.

You should find that by the time you have sunk the socket part into the hole in the engine cover, then applied the weld around the socket the height of the plug should be just about the same as the first batch I made or at least thats how it looks here! the caps are slightly different as it was pointed out to me that they could do with the crosses being a little deeper than the first lot and the chamfer a litter larger hence the slight increase in depth of the cap, again these are not mass produced just done on my lathe which is not C.N.C.
