Following modification, the new generation firing unit has been rigorously and successfully tested with excellent results.

Follow this link to see the unit in action:

hi Matthijs, I found that the video comes up as a Flash presentation within a pop up window. Make sure your browser is enabled to show .swf, and allows pop-ups too.

Hope that helps!

Perhaps you were caught out like me at first!!!
Click on the link
http://www.armortek.co.uk/html/shopeu/s ... erops.html as they suggest, when you are on the new page you should see a new link about halfway down that page.
See the Blank firer during testing here
Click on that.

Hi Mark and Gill
Do you know anyone who makes a 24v to 5 volt converter as a stand alone unit or could you provide one for those of us on the older designed control boxes.
I see its a feature of the new control box...

Hello Derek

An easy round it is to use an Electronize speed controller fitted with a BEC to operate the turret rotation motor and hence also supply the RX.

Hi David
The speedcontroler for the turret in the Panther is electronize
I am not sure if it has a BEC, and I cant get to the box (Still not unpacked)
at the moment as I am having a bit of work done at home
and the workshop is a bit full at the moment!!!

What sort of amps do we need on the 5 volt line for the recever & sound unit
etc....?
