Thanks for the compliment, the engine is not top quality
but it looks good for resin, some little parts dont came out the mold
good ( they restore them by hand ) afterwards i'am satisfied.

How did you mount the front bar that the spare track is hanging on?
Also what did you make it out of or did it come with the kit?

Hi Tim,

I used a ALU L shape form from 10mm and 1,5 thick, you cut it to the correct lenght and make a cut on both sides from 10mm and bend it to the front of the tank. If you have bend the flenses you cut the rest of the bar to fit between the tank.Then drill a hole on both sides from 3mm. Then i used a drill from 2,3mm for drilling the side panels of the tank and used a 3 mm tap for the countersink screws. I hope you understand my explanation because my english is not very good. I'am a few steps further on my tiger,
first i put the idler an wheels and the drive sprockets on

The second step i put on Mike's tool latches and started with the deluxe antenna set.

And cutting my maybach engine in two, because i'am gonna put my batteries flat in the tank, so one battery is under the engine.
Because i'am using the blankfire it is necessary that the batteries
are flat in the tank,so the second battery comes a little part on the turret hole.

Looking great. Looking forward to seeing how engine will fit with batteries mounted. Somthing I would like to do also.
What did you use to fit the tool holders? Did you use rivets? If yes, what size?

Hi John,

The tool latches comes from Mike Stannard and with the latches
are very tiny self tap screws, first i drill a hole 1,5mm and then i glue the tool latch on the tank and secure with the screw the screw have the same bore but you can screw it in the tank,
you have to be careful otherwise you can break the screw

Hi everyone,

I'am a few steps further with the engine compartment.
I made also 2 boxes to put the speakers in, and i made a tray
for the power suply module. I use velcro strips on the modules,
to secure them in the tank. The engine is also secure with velcro.

My tiger 1 is almoast ready to run, i have to put some details on the deck, the tools, the antenna(s), the tow cables, the feifel tubes and some other stuf.
I'am now working on the electronics and the blankfire.
