Thats a very nice looking model with some good touches with the tool boxes. I hope you have many hours enjoyment running it.

Lovely tool box's and tools nick,your tank looks great.
The first thing I did when I saw your box's,was have a look to see if I had room on my running boards.

i made them my self and the hinges ,and hammers
will try to make somemore tools to go in the boxes.things a bit quit where i work ,and you know what they say about the devil and idle hands.

Nick,
I must admit one of my most enjoyable bits of the build was making the tools and detail as its at this time that the model started to come to life and all the hard work was starting to pay off. On my Sherman the tools were the old generation solid white metal, so I cut off the metal handles and made wooden ones and thinned down the spade heads etc and then made some straps and buckles to hold them to the tank hull. It was a nice change from all the hull cutting and heavy work. Mind you I did convert the Sherman to a Firefly so the work was my own doing.

had fun making the spanners (not realy)i only made four ,that was enough

it was a realy good morning ,the weather was great .
Its an old idustrial site and its about 10 minutes away by car .
all i have got to do is learn not to run the camera over and it should be
ok.

had another good run out last sunday these tanks are very impresive
they run very smooth and are very powerfull i am very pleased with the way it runs. here is another short video with some still pics to follow,
