hi all
i wont be adding the bosch lights as they are not on the ausf l i have only seen them on the ausf m
the ausf l had two small night lights on the running board and two larger ones something like the ones on the femo 7 on the front armour plate
notable changes on the second batch are the bump stops they have been rotated to the right angle
the mantlet armour has been reshaped like the original
im not sure about other changes as i havent checked yet
regards

Hi Colin,
yes that is what I am seeing in my reference books with regards to the lights, I shall be doing the same.

Making good progress on the first phase build. Marked down a few things so far that I am going to need to change (no surprises).
A good number of the hull side bolts that attach the brackets are going to need the countersunk holes made deeper to allow them to be filled later on and I will also need to remake the lower deck to make the transmission hatches and doors the right size (not sure why Mark has not corrected this).
I plan on completely re-making the deck and doors using my CNC mill using 1/8" steel.
I will probably buy enough steel plate to make two sets just in case I screw the first up. If I don't I may have a spare set.
Remember to check my build log as it changes daily.
Having lots of fun!
David

Been busy of late installing and commissioning my new CNC mill as well as building an enclosure for it and a pneumatic power draw bar.
Did my first test cut on it this week and cut the new lower deck with the correct size transmission access opening this week.
Now I need to make the two new doors.

I have now finished the new lower deck with new transmission hatches and doors. Also fitted are Clive Lockwood's great hinges.
Trying to decide whether to add handles to the transmission hatches as fitted to some Ausf L's

Front deck looks good David.
Mine arrived from the cutters yesterday, after a week's wait, so I'm so envious you can make yours on site
Is that a gasket under the sprocket gear casing
Adrian.

I have now filled and re-primed all the non-prototype bolt/holes and added weld lines to the front of the hull.
