Yes Derek,
I agree. The Universal Carrier is the most numerous, successful, armoured, tracked, fighting vehicle in history.
Produced in the UK 57,000 USA 20,000 Canada 29,000 Australia 5,000 and New Zealand 1,300 making a total of 112,300. Maybe more? let's round it up to 113,000
As a model it would have real international appeal to people in the above countries.
When the germans captured them they were so impressed with the suspension that they carried out a field conversion on an Opel Blitz truck and then put it into production without changing a thing. The suspension was used on the trucks used on the Russian front as wheeled vehicles were not suitable.

I like the Brit tanks too and would love a Chruchill but I have to agree that the KT would complete the set of big cats. Would a Jagdpanther be considered a "new" model?? The T34 would also be a natural to complete the set of "well known and liked" tanks. It also has a very simple track system so could it be produced at a much cheaper price to allow those who cannot afford the price of the current tanks to own a tank?

Hi Guys
A T34 would also be great but could Mark get a rough enough
turret casting and would it be a 76 or 85 turret...

I spoke to Mark about a T34 when I was at W&P 2007 and he indicated that it would be a 76.
The one and only tank I do not want Mark and Gill to make is a T34 and I hope he never does a T34 as if he did how could I not buy it?

I think it will be a jagdpanther . Only because armortek are tooled up for it already . All armortek need to do is make new side hull plates and mantel and away we go . If so it will be interesting to see how we gain access into the hull for the option packs . Maybe the hull roof and rear deck will be removable . If not , I would like a new sherman of some sort !!! or a Panzer III or a Stug III.G. How good would a Stug III look with stowage and troops all over the rear Deck . Any way maybe we will find out soooon,...Dale

I like the thought of a Panzer III :D That'd be neat. British WWII armor would be cool too. T34s are always a crowd pleaser. I also thought an M10 would be a neat RC tank to own(for an American piece).

One last request Mark & Gill - how about a German Raupenschlepper (caterpiller tractor), it is a track vehicle with a great truck looking front end, could include a cart too! Something a little different.
