I was looking in to it but wanted to take it a step further.
I go for the scale off the boltheads and metric sizes...
So far EKP can deliver bolts with the sizes of the head across the flats :
3,00mm (being the M10 wich should be 2,83)
3,17mm (being the M12)
4,00mm (being the M16)
5,00mm (being the M20)

The thread is another story...

Still sorting it all out to make sure i got all the bolts that's why i'm looking to find the right sizes of the real thing so i can transfer that to a scale 1/6.

Regards

Sven

Just a thought, but the sizes you list assume that the bolts were made to the ISO standard. I do not think that this was the case. In Germany during this period the pre ISO standard was the DIN standard for nuts and bolts, but it was not universally adopted. Most exposed bolt heads that you see on preserved tanks have been replaced and do not represent the original equipment. Expert opinion seems to think that the war time German bolts had even smaller heads than those you are looking at.

Hey there...
The size of the bolts should be correct or at least mach the measerments of the ones i took in La Gleize...
I don't think they changed all the bolts on that model... :?:
Soon i hope to go to Freiburg to find that information in their archives...
