Hello Robert
You are right. When I start with a new project, I test at first the technical components. Then I start with the details.
Well, now the exhauster pipe with the deflector plate.
Kind regards
Frank

Hello at all
Now the question: How I can release my ropes?
At first, I ordered a 5mm steel rope and I remove the cable core. So, the diameter is 4,7mm and the rope is more flexible. The rope thimbles are printed. The binding bands are 0,8 mm (brown) and 0,6 mm (white) saddlery yarn.
Kind regards
Frank

Hi Frank,
Great job. Just don't get caught with the Frau's best tweezers as a marlinspike. FWIW I have had success simply burning out the fibre core (polypropylene?) of lengths of 5mm rope. It also burns off zinc plating allowing paint to stick better. Regular blow torch works just fine , but best done outside for ventilation.
Keep up the good work.
cheers
Fabrice

Hello Fabrice
How are you? Nice to hear something from you.
Do not worry. The tweezers are only my modelling equipment.
It is right. The rope looks very new. However, in one or two year it has the right surface. Another way: Lay the rope in vinegar for one day. That is better for the environment.
Cheers
Frank
