Hello all

I have now started giving my kt a new camo and are in doubt if it is the right colors I have chosen.

I have chosen Vallejo 71.041 - armor brown (like xf-64 red brown) and 71.020 - german green (like xf-61 - dark green).

Have I chosen the right colors for the German tanks (WWII)?

I like to use Vallejo model Air since I do not have to use airbrush thinner.

Hi Allan, I've just quickly read through your Project over the years. You've done some good work there! I'm not very good at painting so I'm not looking forward to doing my camo...

Anyway, I noticed in your build that it appears you didn't drill and pin your suspension arms? I'm assembling my suspension now and wasn't sure whether to drill and pin mine as others have done, I was just going to glue them with the really strong Loctite for threads.

Can you tell me what you did and how it performed/held up?

cheers
Conrad

Hello

New paint on the King Tiger, first time out from workshop. To hot to do something. Not finish yet. No big subs install.

Great, I used Loctite too and hope they wont unscrew!

I have another question if you guys dont mind, I have just been assembling my KT 2009 (081) and I notice that 2 of the suspension Bump stops are useless as the suspension arms will always collide with each other before they hit the bump stop. See pic below. Is this a known issue? Or have I made a mistake?
