Fantastic detailing, very impressive.
Suggestions for further improvement.
GUE Marriage Panel on left hand side of firewall. ME Marriage Panel on the right hand side.
Plus a coke can to drop out of the TTB ( Tank Telephone Box ) when it was opened. Regular wind-up on the attached Infantry that it was a coke can dispenser.
Mark

It's been a bit hot in the workshop today but the paint dries very fast indeed I've been working on the gun crutch and the elevation mech today.

I'm beginning to hate the gun clamp and exhaust box with a vengeance, does any body have any sympathy for a poor sap like me
Great detailing guys, even the plaggy 1/35 static's would have trouble keeping up.
Mark, I suppose there was ice in the first box too!

No ice but the TTB as a coke dispenser was a good wind-up. The NBC pack was wonderful at chilling the beers though.

Hi Phil,
Great looking update to the barrel insulation and binding. The rubber bellows/concertina also really look the part - where did you get it from, I've not been able to find anything that comes close ?
Cheers David

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
Hi David the bellows were a lucky find on eBay but I did order three different sizes and picked the most appropriate, it's the inside diameter that's crucial but that determines the outside diameter, so as with everything it's a compromise, the webbing is from china .

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
A quick update, I need to get a tweeter at the rear of the engine bay so we can appreciate the screaming tones of the engines, I've just had a high quality speaker delivered to achieve that, well I hope it does!
So along with cad drawings for Vince I need to fit the audio improvements tomorrow, I'll post a video with audio if its really good!
If it sounds really good I will order another for the other side, you do have lots of available watts with the new sound module.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
Take a look at this video with the extra tweeter, I can hear the difference and have just ordered another for the off side.
There's a little treat for Liam in that smoke stream, see if you can tell what it is? Oh I can't keep a secret , it's my new exhaust pulse device.
Vince I'm printing the flywheel and it's a five hour run!

Excellent that man there's a lot of scaffolding in and around those through bolts to remove on the flywheel.
