Thanks Bob I'm very happy with the way it turning out so far . Were the hatches O/D on the inside ? also was the loaders hatch head pad brown leather ? Dale

Hatches were green on inside - to not silhouette the person against a white hatch = better target. Exception to that was the shell port on left turret - being small and not opening all the way, the inside of that was white.

Head pads were typically black. :wink:

Todays Job was to give the upper hull a light etch prime then some Mr surfacer 500 stippled on then a light block sand . Dale

Just back tracking a little; have you varnished your bogies and wheels? If so, matt or satin?

Hi Richard . No Varnish . Because I own a real ww2 Willys jeep . I have painted my model with quick dry Enamel Olive drab the paint has a slight shine to it . The hard to get at parts where sprayed with air brushed , the big parts of the hull I used spray cans .Dale
