Re: yves king tiger update
Hello Edward,
Thank you for the compliments.
The bolts for the deck, i used M3 hex bolts but they are a little to big.
So it is better to use M2.5 hex bolts for the deck ( this scale is better looking )
These bolts and many other bolts and nuts i bought them from a company in Germany
http://www.knupfer-grossbahn.de/
For the mudguard hinges at the front i used countersink M2.5 bolts and nuts.(Hexhead)
for fastening the front mudguards together with the front side skirt i used M2.5 (hex)
For the rear mudguard hinges fastening to the hull i used M3 hex head.
For the rear mudguard flaps i also used M2.5 bolts and nuts hex head.
Hope this will help you Edward.
Best regards Yves

Hi Edward,
All the lift hooks i order extra from Armortek.
The lift hooks are all the same, the ones at the front deck i cut a little bit on
the hook. You need 8 hooks on the rear deck and 3 hooks on the front deck.
best regards Yves

Re: yves king tiger update
HELLO YVES !!! MY WINTERS ARE NOT AS SEVERE AS YOURS I KNOW BUT STILL I HAVE LOST A LOT OF TIME ON MY KT. SO MANY THINGS GET IN THE WAY WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND I DO ENJOY THE TIME SPENT ON MY KT. I AM AT LAST GETTING INVOLVED WITH ALL THE ELECTRICAL WORK. IT IS EATING MY LUNCH !!! I NEED TO SPLICE SOME WIRING. WHAT SIZE ARE THE DIFF. WIRES ? I AM USING A 4 BATTERY SYSTEM. EACH BATTERY IS
6.75"L X 3"W X 6"H. I WISH I COULD GET A 24V BATTERY THAT WOULD BE 6.75"L X 6'W X 4.75"H !! THAT WOULD GIVE MORE ROOM WHERE THE WIRES CONNECT TO THE MODULES.
YOUR PHOTOS HAVE BEEN A TREMENDOUS HELP TO ME. AM I ASKING TOO MUCH....WOULD YOU SEND ME SOME PHOTOS OF YOUR ELECTRICAL LAY OUT ???!!! THAT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP !!!
I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN 100 MILES FROM THE NEAREST MODEL SHOP IN SAN ANTONIO AND THIS IS CERTAINLY A MINUS WHEN IT CONCERNS GETTING SUPPLIES FOR MY KT. ANYWAY YVES I DO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND YOUR POSTS IN THE FORUM. ED

Re: yves king tiger update
Hello Edward,
The wires for the batteries are the same thickness like the wires to connect the
two 12 volt batteries togheter ( standard in motion pack )
here is a diagram to connect the modules and the receiver,
( diagram is without the connection for the motors and smoker.)
Hope this will help you.
Best regards Yves
