Really looking good Martin. Lovely details. I will be interested to see how those LED for the flame dampener turn out. Super work sorting all the electrics sorted out.
Best regards,
Bob

Hi Bob,
thank you for the nice words. I am also very interested to see how the LED will work. A little time to wait, because first i have to painted and weathered the hull and afterwards mount the exhausts with the LED's. Here are more progress of the painted and weathered road wheels with the oil grease nipples, the tail light and the first layers of the Bovingten JP camo.

Hi Martin,

glowing LEDs in the exhaust pipes are a nice thing, but unfortunately you can see it only by night. Reinhold has such a feature added to his King Tiger in 1/4 scale. On top he has combined it with real flames coming out of the exhausts simulating backfire. These flames are made by camping gas with piezo-electric ignition. He also uses it for muzzle flames of the main gun. At twilight this is an impressive spectacle, but also a little dangerous: a bit too much gas in the muzzle brake, and the effect is VERY impressive........

Hi Gerhard,
i think it is all a question of the brightness of the LED. I will use 3000mCd for each lamp.

Hi Simon,
thank you for the comment - here is the next step of painting the scheme of the Bovingten JP.

After a very elaborate paint job, i am quite satisfied with the result. Here are the photos from the JP also with the tubes from the smoker to the Flammenvernichter.

Hi Simon,
you are right this is an exact copy of the real Bovingten Jagdpanther, but not the numbers and the field markings ( Feldzeichen in deutsch ). That are the personal note of my! :D :D :D
Here are also the first photos of the "Saukopf" with some modifications because the JP get a recoil system with ball bearings.

Hi Chris,
thank you for the compliment.
After some crazy sketches here comes the first photos from the recoil system with some modifications on the Armortek parts. And all the new ones with the new drive concept of the barrel motor in hight direction - here with a teeth belt, because in the depht are no place for the long motor!
