Hi Fellas.
The next TWO meetings at Leighton Hall will be next Sunday the 10th and the following Sunday the 17th the Hall is now open to the public and so for these next two meetings and probably for the next couple of months we are starting a bit later in the day so that visitors can see the tanks running. The first meeting next weekend we are going to meet at 11 .am. in the usual place and spend some time cleaning out the shed, we have permission to use so that we can start to get a few buildings sorted out and have somewhere to put them for storage, then start running the tanks about 1 ish to conserve battery power, and coincide with the Hall opening up to the public.
Please remember all are welcome to come along we have a hard core of about 5 regulars now but the more the merrier as we have plenty of space.
See you all next week i will bring the brush Paul

Hi Paul
I'll be there. Just wondered if we could cut the grass shorter in areas due to the track problems today? The wife has listed the home made barbed wire on ebay. She's gone in to production mode and took over my garage!. looks like I'll have a helper building the KT or to just pass me the beer out of the fridge beside me......
Paul Wills - thanks for the show - on setting off your 12 gauge blank firer in the back of your car , one after the other , and sending your muzzle cover into orbit!! totally amazing. Would love to see your wife's face when she gets into the car...
Richie

Hi Richie,
She wasn't best pleased when she got in the car and all she could smell was cordite , she’s banished me to the garage !!! wile I was in there I finally figured out what coursed it to go off, it is having two on off switches together, I must have turned the smoker on instead of the receiver "Oops" , I will have to mark them up so it doesn’t happen again.
So is you wife selling the barbed wire for 90 pence a roll, or have you added RAT (Richie add Tax) the poor lass is going to have to sell some rolls of barbed wire to pay for this KT!!!!

hi paul
she's scottish, and loves to save, i only said i need to buy one more roll, then she started making them :the rip off and scarper? you must be speaking abaut royal mail? p+p they need to go in a small box as sharp edges, dont want royal mail on my back for postman stabbed with barbed wire. shes made a lot more today,
the photo etched ones i got were £2.50 and looks like tinsel and these are hand made.
have a go on making one, trust me its easier buying them.
thinking of going 1/1 scale think of all them farmers

Hi All,
Great to see you all again yesterday. Thanks guys for all your help when one of my pins came out and snapped a track link.
A few photo's of yesterday's meet:
Richie fixing his tracks.
A nice picture of Paul Will's early Tiger finally getting a little dirty
My Panther also getting it's first taste of mud.
All three standing proud on their new plinth, specially made to display our fantastic tanks proudly
Next time there will be a statue on the plinth covered in a German battle flag eh Paul W
See most next week.
Thanks Antony

Hi Antony,
Great photos, I am glad you managed to get Richie’s new tool box in the photo, anyone notice how big it’s getting , I think we should start a then and now photo set, showing the little tool box he had when he first came and the double stacker he brought this weekend , mind you he had everything but a bloody hammer in it
Yes Antony I have the very thing for that statue, a double decal SS helmet and a large battle flag to adorn it’s shoulders, just my luck it will be a Labrador or something like that.
Paul .

Hi Paul
The toolbox...... I've always had the double decker and now includes a hammer ha... maybe next time I will have an angle grinder and oxycetaline.... ...
Only joking . The wife has been busy making more barbed wire , also its not as bright now as its pre dipped to dull it. Looks more weathered. And she is getting faster.
Tonight, I have given her a special task - she's been playing with playdough (milly putty) putting a part number on the mantle like Vince's. She's not done a bad job with it . I've definately got an apprentice for the KT building at 50p an hour.
Are you there on Sunday?
Richie
