hi dave, for such a small tank there seems no end of detail to add, the panzer 111 section has some great builds, they were a good buy, you can squeeze a lot out of the build, i like watching this section, regards simon.

Hello , havent posted for a while , the catwalks seamed to take forever, wish i had a pound for every hole i have drilled in them , the 14BA nuts and bolts for the hinges
where difficult , but the end result was worth it , Fitted all the clamps and bits and bobs to the right hand side Steve Winstones tool boxes and spare wheel holders are exellent , made variouse small brackets for the notek lights and small sidelight
made the pry bar from a length of 5mm key steel
like the tank in my earlier post i am going to add the shurzen. I Have started making
the brackets , waiting for some brass angle to come this has been very difficult to get
the size i wanted , 8mmx8mmx1mm , here are a few photos

the "Schürzen" are a nice option on the Pz.III, I like them and I look forward to see yours, when they are fitted.

The shurtzen will be a great addition to your PZIII and an Armortek first If I'm not mistaken. I look forward to seeing these added. Keep up the great work, I love all the details you have added so far.

Hi Tim , Simon , I know what you mean about the suspension ,I dont intend to have
all the plates fitted , just a couple each side so you can see some of everything as in
the picture in my earlier post . I have made all the brackets bolt on so if when it is all finished i can take it all off if i dont like it ,i will see what it all looks like when it is painted and weathered, and i have tried the plates in different positions

In my opinion, I don't think that side skirts hide the detailing. In fact, with a few missing it actually adds another level of detail interest with a neat peek-view to what's behind them. Again, only my opinion, but was quite happy with my Normandy Panzer IV that had the "missing a few shurzen" look .

Love the Panzer IIIs with shurzen. great work!

Finally after five years I have finished the hull , didn't realise there was so much detail to add , the shurtzen prove more difficult and complex than I thought but I am pleased now it is done , the turret shurtzen should be easier
The next challenge is to either modifie the armortek turret bin or make a new one like
Steven white has done , I already have the excellent lid made by Steve winstone
there is quite a bit of detail also to add to the turret with the cupola and hatch detail
should move a bit though now
