MUDGUARD SUPPORT

Post by Graham Ord »

Hi all
Why is there only one mudguard support situated on the R/H side and just before the front armour plate and none on the L/H side? What extra stress was on the R/H side.

Not sure what part you, do you have a pic that shows it? Can't remember any differance with the mudguards, I must have missed something. Bad research :D

Hi Graham

I wonder if it is because the spare wheel box on the left side of the vehicle acted as a support for the left mudguard serving a dual purpose :?:

Just a thought.

Aha, that one. Tims theory seems to be a good one.

Maybe it is there because the jack is mounted on that fender just behind that support, that would be more stress.
