Update on the parts, one side of the upper engine bay kit is now printed, very nice prints using standard print quality, if you can get this right it sure cuts down on print time, although its still painfully long print times for these large pieces.

I generally use a reasonable high level of infill support structure, this makes the piece very strong indeed, you could quite easily stand on this without any damage, the internal support structure also affects the final top layer finish quality. Another benefit of the dense support structure is that the part feels heavy and robust.

I just love the support structures , remember the early versions ( not that long ago) that took an age to remove with hours of cleaning up to do, not anymore as just a gentle tug and it all pulls away.

Due to so much interest I've decided to offer, my Tiger1 half engine, Panther half engine and the King Tiger half engine.
Initially these will be supplied assembled and in primer, with a reasonable amount of detail but scope for further super detailing if you wish to do so.
I've made one important upgrade, the air filters will have removable lids with a functioning oil bath that can be filled with either oil or coloured resin.
PM me for my email.

My printer is working very hard and it's printing very well indeed, these simple cyclone air cleaner handles can be problematic but all is well.

It's a little tricky getting the large parts aligned , you just have to measure and measure again before you bond. I really need to make a jig, I will put together a simple build log with variations for the different engine types.

I think it's important to have the cyclone air filter assemblies demountable, when it's all installed in the engine bay you are able to lift out the covers as if your crew is carrying out a service.
