Local Country Discussion Area

Post by Armortek »

We have had some demand to create a "Local Country Discussion Area" where customers can discusses topics in their own language or topics that are only relevant to their own country.

Obviously the vast benefit from the Armortek Forum is where people can share their knowledge, work and insights as broadly as possible - so having a local language section works a bit against this. But we also understand that not everyone wants to communicate in English, so hopefully this strikes a happy balance. (and there is always google translate).

We have started with Germany - but if you would like an area where you can discuss in your language then let us know.

Please note that discussions are still bound by the Armortek Forum Rules (RULES) and discussions should be restricted to Armortek 1:6 scale models and accessories.

Excellent!

Can we have an American area where we don't have to use nearly as many superfluous vowels? :D

Just kidding...

Great idea folks!

Cheers!

A very good idea I mean! In Germany a normal education in English doesn't contain technical expressions and not at all tank techniques! Also the usual translation programs don't help here.
kind regards
Gerhard

Hi Gerhard,

Don´t worry about your limited knowledge of English... I got an English / German dictionary as a present from a former boss of mine in the early ´90s.... Roughly about 95 % of the German words were unknown to me... (Foundry vocabulary).
Lord, give me strength to change the things I am able to change.... and patience to endure the things I can not change :-) A bunch of Tiger and Panther variants, a few 88`s and smaler ones like Hetzer, Stug III, etc. and soon a Leo II
