In fact this week I was wondering if you were going to do a rifling insert to that barrel.

I had left it for quite some time I know Vince but it's done now thanks to you, you are another craftsman that helps us all out with your unique talent , particularly me!
I now have the very difficult task of making the remaining meteors engine parts along with the myriad of engine bay fittings, most will have to be milled and turned by hand.

Sorry Vince, I missed your name out. You are another of the behind the scenes that have made the project possible.

Hi Phil.
Great build of the Cent you’re doing, the best build I have seen.
As for the camo, I guess 1/3 black, 2/3 green any patter you like (within reason).
The photo shows what I think is a Danish Cent but the pattern of the camo would be very similar.
I know that’s not a great help but I am sure you will ace it.
Regards
Steve

Thanks for the positive input Steve. Moving on and getting closer to the black part of the BAOR colour scheme, so I've just ordered the Tamiya NATO black xf 69, I hope 10 pots will be enough.

Whilst waiting for the fresh paint to arrive I have made a start with old paint , the subtle weathering pre stage of "what's underneath" has begun.

This might need another coat. The whole vehicle will need gentle scrubbing with very fine wire wool, and the pads of wire wool will need replacing with new regularly or it will leave marks
