First, let me say that this is probably my favorite thread in the whole forum... always so many great ideas and such an infinite number of great possibilities... that DO come true! In really spectacular fashion!
So I always had a thing for APC's. Especially the M113 which was used by so many countries over such a long period that it is just an armored icon. Lots of room for RC. Or lots of possibilities for interior detail and static construction. It is one of the defining pieces of cold war armor.
The other is the utterly controversial (during the 1980's) Bradley, that turned into a stalwart and one of the real hero's of the Gulf War. The Bradley was supposed to be junk and an aluminum coffin. But proved rugged and lethal... also seeing service with many, many armies in the post-Cold War period.
Just something up for discussion..
And if the mothership ever ramps up on Kompact Kits, the French 75 Artillery Piece is iconic as well and would pair so well with the WW1 tanks!
Again, I love this thread!
Cheers,
