It also shows the low ground pressure that the tracked vehicles had. They may be big and heavy but the track spreads that load out so they can get through areas that wheeled vehicles cannot.
At a lot of the units I served with, the highlight on an open day was the raffle to crush a car with a tank.
Sounds easy but it was not and you were trying to get the lucky winner the experience they were hoping for.
If the car was not chocked, the tank would just push it away whilst denting it and scratching its paintwork.
Too slow on the approach and you got the same.
Too fast and you went over the top, the car took damage but was not crushed.
Just right, get on top, stop, and then neutral turns to chew it to bits using the tracks.
