This will not be the final position I'm sure, what do you think of the piece of steel for for for the lamp guard surrounds Phil? The diameter is just a gnats tadger under 3 mm.

Using the in situ pre drilled holes as a jig you know that the frame fits perfectly and can be removed for further soldering and refitted without any problems, if the rod and or holes are out of plumb removal can be very difficult.

And now onto the bezel fittings to include the awkward brackets, the conduit fittings are on back order from DD, well not really back order as soon as Dave gets a chance to cast them. A question for Dave, what diameter rod will I need for the conduit to fit your fittings please?

Well Bryan as you have asked, you wouldn't believe how much I have to do on a daily basis, I love the model building work as I suppose it's an escape from it all!
We have , I say we, me and the wife ( we live separately ) look after our own land here in Cornwall, I then also look after another 100 acres or so of pasture and woodland. We have 8 horses, 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 sheep and a few bees.
Time is precious for sure, I have my own business, I do my own cooking and house work all with a degenerative back disease but morphine helps! I shall keep going until I can't. I have given up riding motorcycles and showing cars though, Phil.

These ears are to big just now but that's all planned.

This all needs to be functional so in the future if an led needs replacing you can remove the bezel .

I need to reduce these fittings down by about 20% but that will be done once it's all in place, the parts are very fiddly indeed, so best fix then file
