First day over of the Wartime Britain Weekend at the REME Museum, Lyneham.
Thanks to David, Brian and Denny for the company and entertainment.
Started off pretty chilly but ended with shirtsleeve sunshine
Back again tomorrow, if anyone is in the area.
Adrian.

Re: REME Museum - Wartime Britain Weekend
Adrian,
Thanks for arranging. A good show, with good company at a great little museum. Between us, we managed a sizable turn out of tanks and a number of suitably themed displays as befitting the spiritual home of tank repairs in the field.
I look forward to the REME model show later in the year.
David

And we weren't there to break down so it must have been.
Next outing should be interesting if I get things worked out and running again.

Re: REME Museum - Wartime Britain Weekend
Oddly enough, apart from a few missing collars and split pins on the KT and JT, and a flat battery on a Tiger, Denny's tanks ran OK.
On Sunday we were joined by Steve, giving his Cromwell and Tiger a quick shakedown before Militracks next weekend.
We probably spent more time arguing about which weekend various shows were happening than anything else !
Denny showing off his parking skills...
We had nice area of long grass from which to ambush the visitors.
