Photos of the restoration of a Panzer III

Post by Armortek »

I was sent this link by Bob in Minnesota, who is not an Armortek customer yet! however thought you may find it interesting.

It is a series of photos of the restoration of the Panzer III by the Patton Museum of Armor at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.

Drive sprocket

Post by Alan Zeisbrich »

I am patiently awaiting my Panzer III and using the time to research the vehicle. I noticed on many of the fine pictures posted of "work in progress" Pazer IIIs that the Armortek drive sprocket has only five spokes and not six as all my reference data suggests. Does anyone know if this will be corrected on the upcomming summer issue of the Panzer III of which mine is one.
