Resting in the firing box lid is the bespoke sounds system for the count down and the V2 launch sounds, I need to take the guts of the box out and install all that nice and neatly. There will be a mix of 1940's and contemporary instrumentation, the mix being for practical reasons of course.

I want to use the pair of dials in the middle of the console as they do look interesting, maybe something to calculate windage prior to launch?

Phil, perhaps a DIY waterslide decal, printed up to A4 depending how big you want it? Just a thought.
All the best

The idea is that the light from the leds reflects off of the smoke, I've just added some bigger white leds which are mounted in the nitrogen manifold box, more on all that in next week's exciting episode of " The V2 Project! "

I think I have now found the right combination and type of intense light to reproduce the fuel burning, well as much as you can with such a model.

I've spent a few hours on the V2 recently to try and free up some space in the workshop.
Now fingers crossed as Armortek are back on the wheeled vehicles perhaps they may consider offering one of two of the superb V2 support vehicles!

Too bad so far there is no 1/6 Wernher Von Braun figure. Otherwise it'll be a good diorama scene.
