Berwick St John Country Fayre

Post by Adrian Harris »

A few pictures showing our area at the Berwick St John Country Fayre. As you can see, we were up at the top of the hill, so had a great view out over the show.

Thanks go to Paul for the invite and David for the pictures. The show is biennial, so hopefully we will be back in 2024.

As a range test, I dove the Centurion AVRE down to about where that 25 Pounder is in the last picture.

I started to get RSSI low warnings from the transmitter but no critical ones.

Thanks to all those that attended.

I’m sorry I wasn’t around much but as an organiser I was needed elsewhere.

The tanks had the best view of the weekend and as a charity fund raiser the figures are looking promising.

Need to up the game in 2024 so how about a few tonnes of soil to play in?
Jagdtiger 2020 number 40. With Gun Smoke, CO2 recoil and Driving on custom Brushless motors.
Leopard “ The Bear” build with a difference. Big power for good reason.

Hi Paul,
Well done for organising and glad to hear it will make some money. It was a great show, with a very good selection of live steam, traders and food stalls.
Some more varied and challenging terrain always helps to add interest to the display for all parties. The woodland track was good, but unfortunately a bit out of the way.
Look forward to seeing what you can come up with in 2024.

David
