Re: Late tiger refurbish
Well I would have loved to have just bolted my new Fiefel Plate on and moved on to another job, but the problem is the position on the hatch can be improved, so after some cutting soldering, filing and sanding the mod was done.
Regards
David

Nice work.
I would have had a new plate cut There's quite a bit out of alignment on the very oldest kits

Thanks Adrian - 2007 late tiger is a lovely kit, lots of steel parts! nothing major to mod now except for the wheels, will get on with that soon.

Re: Late tiger refurbish
A fairly easy job that took longer then expected, one of Steve Winstone upgrade lugs went missing, I searched high and low and when I was ready to throw in the towel I found it outside the garage, I must have searched for an hour or so ...if its it's not looking for a tool you were just using its dropping something on the floor of no return.... must lead to another dimension.

Hi,
More work done to the exhaust guards. What size nuts are being used to hold these on? Kit M3 look too small.

Re: Late tiger refurbish
Hi David,
Like your jobs of adding aerial storage tube, and re-location of the Fiefel air intake cover plate.
The axis of the 2007 Tiger 1 Driven Gear CE0302, is solid without threaded central hole (as shown on your Tiger 1).
Will you replace it with a threaded one , or use it without any modification?
Best regards,
Lerh Chang

Thanks for the comments.
Chang,
I don't see a benefit to doing this as my sprocket cap is a nice tight fit.

Thanks David for the answer. I just want to learn from you, if it is worthy to modify or replaced.David Brady wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 9:34 pmThanks for the comments.

Hi,
Fitted one of the front hatches today. These are a combination of working steel mechanism fitted by Steve Winstone, Mark Lawson brass hinges and Armorpax hatch.
