Since now I have made a spare tire locker on my halftrack (see thread below) I need a spare tyre!
Searching for same on the forum I read a post from 2010 that already said no spares remained as they were, at the time,
from an outside supplier that was no longer.
Certainly if someone had a spare kicking around I'd like to buy it but I'm curious if there were any viable substitutes
found? Scooter tires, hand truck tires or what have you. I could probably make serviceable Trilex wheel castings if pressed
but I need the tires. If I was really ambitious (which I'm not for just one tire) I'd make a mold and vulcanize the tires myself.
I've actually vulcanized all manner of smaller tank tyres having made multiple molds. The one failing point is for tires/tyres
that that are under tension will fail due to ozone oxidation: I cannot find a supplier of suitable antioxidant materials to be used when
preparing the parts.

hi Jerry,
this is a truck parts manufacturer,
if you look in section 1: 8 they have some tire models,
the max diameter is about 150mm.
The pneumatic trolley wheels are about 150mm 175mm 220mm in diameter,
but in the smaller sizes the tread is not flat but round,
like motorcycle wheels,
you can find them as spare parts in well-supplied hardware
